How come Bill Ward is not there? I’m sorry to say this is the worst drum solo I’ve ever heard. I am a drummer. This drummer knows nothing about dynamics apparently. He doesn’t understand that in the drum solo you need to be telling a story: rising action, climax, falling action. There needs to be an arc to a drum solo. Like a story. This drum solo just sounds like six pairs of running shoes in a clothes dryer. Nothing but unending frantic beats for no reason, going nowhere. Really, really, exceptionally boring. Bill Ward could do more with four drums in a minute and a half that this guy can do with his drum junkyard in three days.

NO BILL WARD = NO BLACK SABBATH !!!

This guy has the same drum beat for almost every song. Dragula & Children Of The Grave & Crazy Train all has the same drum beat to this guy. Even Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath sounds the same as Crazy Train, Children Of The Grave. SMH!! Definitely NO BILL WARD!! One big reason Ole Slob Zombie git rid of him is he was making all his songs sounds the same. And what's up with the Failing Chicken Arms?? SMH. Well he can go with Zakk & be in Zakk's solo band with him as almost all Zakk's music sounds the same with all those annoying & overplayed pinch harmonics.

Bill Ward always! Creative, he is technical and fast drummer.

In this long drum solo i still prefer Bill Ward on the drums and he was a hell of a drummer and showed everything that made him one of the greats in drumming solos way back then.

Questa assolo di batteria del brano Rat Salad dei Black Sabbath mi piace un casino. Peccato che nell ' album in studio "Paranoid" dura troppo poco. Avrei voluto che all' epoca l'assolo di batteria fosse stato registrato un po più lungo da Bill Ward. Comunque grande brano. Grande Tommy clufetos e Grandi i Black Sabbath.🤘🔥

In all music, there needs to be structure. There are guides and rules. Anything outside those guides and rules is just noise. Most drum solos are just noise. That's why people use the bathroom during them. Incredible chops but the average person aren't here for a drum clinic. They expect music.

I hope they actually finished the song... The best part is when the band comes back in. It's climactic

I thought it was John Bonham at first yeah he kills it for sure so does Ward, Ward is seriously under rated. The wizard, NIB and the whole album of vol 4 all have amazing drums. He's always been my fav metal drummer and YES black sabbath is Metal, kings of metal

WHY all rock drummers do exactly the same soloing everytime they get a chance to solo on the big concerts. I think now enough is enough..peoples are boring but they never talk about it. They have no idea how to explain their feeling. As a drummer i felt so bad...

I've always liked Bill Ward as one of the top drummers, but this has just cemented my belief that he has to be in the top 5 of drummers!!
